The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 若没有真实事件作为背景，这样一部类型片真的蛮平庸的。
比解救拍的好。全程紧张度把握很好。青出于蓝胜于蓝。
《解救吾先生》纪实摄影的风格和寒冬的环境，透出十分浓厚的肃杀氛围。韩国转换成普通的类型化拍法并非不可取，但没有眼前一亮的新感觉。其次，表演上跟原作比那是全方位拉胯，黄政民证明了一件事：演自己是最难的。最后后半段剧情的原创让其终究成了一部平平无奇的电影。

改的挺好的呀，剧情设定真不错，反派变态，政民教科书般的演技，就是整个框架没展开，警察线再多点…

要是没有看过吾先生，这个可以打7分，翻拍都不及格。。哎
穿插了很多黄政民主演的电影桥段，也算花絮吧，后来制服匪首时候有点太主角光环了，警察的枪都是摆设，舍不得开枪，结果被撂倒，靠主角去以暴制暴，女服务员角色毫无存在感，甚至都不如C罩杯印象深刻。其余几个绑匪也没什么有用的人设，除了暴力情节比较出彩外不如原版。
黄政民演的挺卖力，就是这故事特别提不上劲儿，有些地方很刻意，反派还都有些脸谱化。
一味地注重渲染血腥场面，警察和反派强行降智。。跟《解救吾先生》一对比过于拉垮。。
就算没有《解救吾先生》珠玉在前，本片自身的质量也就一般般......
中改韩也有扑街啊，没想到黄政民演自己竟然好差劲😂

逃不过翻拍片魔咒，可以竞争老黄电影里最烂的一部
但也正是因为这点让演员显得太聪明了

《解救吾先生》实在看不下去，这部勉强可以，但看韩国电影的节奏，就是忍不住的会动怒。
一部彻头彻尾失败的韩国本土化改编—— 将原版代入感极强的氛围营造、悍匪偶尔人性乍现的精彩瞬间以及人在面对极端危险时所做出的各种选择和心理弧线，统统简化成了韩国最常见的犯罪动作片套路。 结果便导致其失去了几乎所有原来的精髓与灵魂，最终沦为影视工业流水线上的一部平庸之作。
